Introduction and Operating Concepts

SearchMaster is an internet application that enables you to run search ranking reports whilst keeping a record of the history of the positions and allowing your clients to log in to their own area to see these results.

First off, when we refer a campaign, it is your clients search engine optimization campaign.

When the program is started, you are presented with a screen divided in to 4 frames:

Left: Action buttons eith relating to a selected campaign OR multiply selected campaigns
Top: A-Z navigation of campaigns by first letter or All campaigns
Middle: Listing of your campaigns
Right: Area for campaign additions / modifications, custom links and groups

Basically, a campaign or selection of campaigns are hilighted by either a single click or by checking the checkboxes. The buttons in the left frame perform various actions related to the campaign or campaigns. Checkboxes will always take priority over a selected radio button.

Key - Works with: (s) single selection only (m) multiple selection only (sm) Single & multiple selections

	View current and past search rankings result for the selected campaign	(s)	more
	Modify selected campaign properties (also can be activated by double clicking the desired row)	(s)	more
	If you have included a stats url in the campaign properties (eg..http://www.yourcampaign.com/stats/awstats.pl) this will act as a quick link to them	(s)
	You can add dated notes associated with this campaign, for example to show latest work done. These are available to the client in their own rankings history login area.	(s)	more
	Delete all the rankings results data for selected campaign(s)	(sm)
	Delete the campaign(s) entirely for selected	(sm)
	Check the search engine positions for selected campaign(s)	(sm)	more

General Action Buttons - Description
Key - Works with: (s) single selection only (m) multiple selection only (sm) Single & multiple selections

	Add a selection of campaigns to a group. This group can then be selected as a quick link which will display the campaigns that belong to this group in the middle frame.	(m)	more
	Add a new campaign	(n/a)	more
	Reset all the frames to the default program start state	(n/a)
